We would like to thank all respondents to our previous questionnaires which included:
Activities for the youth of Sturry. This resulted in the formation of the Sturry Youth Club with over 35 members and the training of volunteer Youth Leaders who meet every week at Greenfield's Lodge and Grounds. Mr. Greenfield offered up the premises free of charge until a new Youth Club is built.
New Youth & Community Centre and Multi-court Sports Area. Following the questionnaire in the Parish Council magazine and your support the Council submitted a planning application, which has been approved.
Activities for the over 50's. This resulted in the formation of the very active Sturry Over 50's Group with over 300 members.
Dog Fouling Problems. The Council negotiated successfully with Canterbury City Council to create dog ban areas in the Parish.
