BILLERICAY IN BLOOM 2010
The 2010 Billericay in Bloom competition which is the 13th Anniversary commenced on Tuesday 18th May when there was an Illustrated Slide Talk by Alan Hellman of RHS Gardens Hyde Hall. Alan's illustrated talk was entitled "Hyde Hall Through the Seasons" and provided an insght into the work that goes on behind the scenes throughout the year and the wonderful displays that are available twelve months of the year for visitors to view. From the slides provided it was obvious that Hyde Hall is a place that should be visited both throughout the winter months as well as the summer.
Judging has now taken place and all entrants have been invited to the Prize Giving Evening on Friday 23 July at Emmanuel Church, Laindon Road, starting at 7 pm, when the winners will be announced.
