Berinsfield War Memorial

This is the official Website of Berinsfield Parish Council which has been designed and constructed to provide what we hope will be a valuable resource of information to all residents of the village.

A vehicle to find out more about what is happening within the Council and the wider Berinsfield community.

We wish for the site to be proactive as possible and to be a two way channel of advice assistance and information between its residents and the Parish Council.

It will be achieved by:

1. involving local people more in what is happening in the village

2. improving communication

3. engaging everyone in local issues

4. providing a platform for the Village and its Organisations

Play is fun, free and great for children

"Our Place" is the theme for national Play Day 2010. In Oxfordshire, the emphasis is on playing outside and enjoying the play opportunities in your local area – for free!

The Oxfordshire Play Partnership, supported by Oxfordshire County Council, is promoting the benefits of free play - using what’s available in the local area and communities.

There are three free play events taking place in the county. Martin Gillett, co-chair of the partnership said:  “Many people and organisations are giving us their time and resources for free, because they believe passionately in the importance of play. We want parents to come along with their children, enjoy themselves and find out how easy it is to have fun on a shoestring budget”.

The events being held are as follows. All are free of charge:
